are they ment to come with vented disks on the front?

You don't mean drilled discs do you?

?? as even the lower spec mk5's have vented discs on the front

As with all Mk5 GTI's - vented, not drilled.

You could always get the electric drill out

ah thats why then, my mate was expecting to see holes... and i didnt know any better. so vented and drilled are diff. lol oops

Vented not drilled on the ED30 & Gti & R32
