Washed the pride & joy down yesterday, but it still looks a mess with bugs, flies etc.
Any recommendations for the best kit for removing the little varmints?

what products did you use?
best stuff i find is Autoglym Bug & Tar remover; use that with a microfibre cloth to wipe down the affected areas; then wash and rinse off and re-apply your poilsh,

Most effective thing I have found is Upol anti silcone degreaser, fecthes them straight off and its really hand on anything nasty and sticky.

Muck Off works well, just remember to rinse it off.

Thanks for the feedback guys - got plenty of other Autoglym stuff from courtesy pack you get with their lifeshine treatments, will have to pop out and invest in the bug remover - and hope for a fine evening for a change.

Easiest way is to wet a chamois and leave it on the offending area for 5 minutes to soften the bugs, they just wash away.

Advice from a valeter was to use tights or stockings - whatever your preference. Thats to rub the flies off with , not wear whilst washing the car !!
,
Works perfectly, used them for years on both cars and bikes, comes up a dream and no cost
