Changing the stock Air Filter to K&N. Help me please

Could someone please help me out. I just bought a cone for my 95 GTI..i noticed that theres 2 pipes that are connected to the standard air box... The pipe on top goes into the cone itself, but what happens to the pipe at the bottom? where would that go into? Please help me out.. Thanks

No it did not come with instructions and ive taken a look @ that website b4 but it does'nt help much cos u cant see the pipe @ the bottom..i just need to know what happens to that pipe...im sooo lost man

I think you will find it is just a breather pipe which can be left to the atmosphere however you may get some fumes. You can buy breather filters made by pipercross that fit on the end. Perhaps its best to get it looked at to make sure.

It is advisable to have all breathers attached, as they will quickly extract any blow by from the crankcase.

a word of warning!

when you bolt the bracket on the stud on inner wing
please beware that over time this will come off and if you have no cambelt cover it could knock the cambelt off!
once it does come off just drill a hole throught the strut tower ie where the old stud went and then blob abit of touch up paint on it to prevent rusting.....

and then just use anut and bolt to hold it on the car.
