First service cost...

Need to get it done. Thought I'd 'phone a couple of dealers near Kingston on Thames  in Surrey to compare prices. £220 from two dealers and £315 from another. All sounded like exactly the same stuff - oil / filter / visual inspection. Thought that prices should be pretty standard. Is £220 OTT for what is extremely basic stuff ? Need the service booked stamped and all that...

Around 220 240 is normal for a service these days. Anything over i would moan
