Well here goes my first ever attempt at doing this so gona give it a bash.
Now i am very limited on funds so this is a cheep mans vdub lol. would spend more but wife would kick my ass.do here goes
I bought the car on friday the 30th june. and it looked ok from a distance
how wrong was i.
on closere in spection. found some interesting things like the rust here.
paint peeling here
door pannels hanging off here
and here
roof lining stuck on with staples
and hanging down here
engine in good need of a clean.
sun roof closing lever thingy nackered here.
other things that needed doing are speedo cable not working.
power steering belt old and cracked keeps slipping
alternator belt in same array.
Now just found a dam leek in the passenger foot well.
And upholstery in sh** state.
MFA switch was broken to.
But i still bought it for 800 smakers, proberly a bit ripped off but hey.
So far i have fixed the MFA switch wich was not fun, still cant get horn to work yet though.
Speedo cable fixed, the end that goes into the transmission had broke in half so a quick nip to the local scrappy sorted that out. woohoo.
Belts are on order and hunting down door pannels and seats.
Future plans.
Well i want to redo the interior red and blue so looking for ether fake leather vynal or felt to cover everything will be mainly red with the blue breaking it all up.
Get the engine running smoothly so this weekend will be oil change filter change power steering fluid drained and changed. and a nice new air filter depending on funds oh and need some seals for around the engine block to.
well thats it for now, if any one nows some quick fixes for these problems please pm me and will give it a go.
