So are michelins the best ones to get if you have the 18" monzas?

Michelins are the best tyres on ANY wheel - period.

id go for goodyear eagle f1 gsd3 wet or dry they are superb. Ã‚£95 each on mytyres

They are so good, they have been discontinued, and replaced with an assymetric tyre!
