Black is a lovely colour mate, my GTI is black and i think it looks really good, there are two R32's in Gib in black and one in Blue and they both look lovely but...they both need to be taken care of very very well! Im a lazy guy there isnt much else to say lol, i started cleaning my GTI the other day and by the time i cleaned half the car, i got to hot and tired so i just stopped lol. Illyun, please post the pics of your golf in Gib, im trying to think back in time because for some reason i have an idea i saw it, what did you think of Gib aswell lol. Another question i had, which im surrrrrrrre you guys dont mind me asking is...the Recaro Seats "Sport Seats Option" or the normal seats but just in leather? I think silver is out of my options now, sorry guys! Really loving the red thou, reminds me of a Mini Ferrari!

I can empathise with the cleaning of them. I have not done mine for a month now as i have been away traveling around everywhere and just not had the chance. Over here in Germany it is illegal to wash your own car, so finding a decent car wash where the rollers wont damage your car is hard and i cringe everytime i get out after a wash!!

The pics i took in my signature block was the last time i cleaned it!!

Oh, there's a whole host of things you can't do over here - washing the car is illegal due to the drainage systems they have, They dont want chemicals going down the drain. However it states you cannot wsh them on a public street, only provate property! Other things you cant do are as follows:

1. Illegal to hang washing out on a Sunday
2. Illegal to cut grass on a Sunday
3. Infact most labour tasks cannot be done on a Sunday
3. No trucks on motorways (autobahns) on weekends (unless they contain perishables - dairy stuff etc) - this is actually a good one, roads are so quiet, in fact most motorways are only 2 lanes
4. Illegal to Run out of fuel
5. Illegal to drive with parking lights on, must be dipped
6. It is illegal to publicly humiliate another person. If it's proven that you gave a certain other driver the finger (Stinkefinger), you are subject to a €1125 fine! Tapping your forehead or passing your hand in front of your eyes is considered just as insulting! And a gesture of thumb and index finger circled together may be the worst!
7. There are no cats eyes either on the roads which makes night driving quite a pain!
8. You are however alowed to use your mobile whilst driving - although i do not condone this (i am bluetooth)
There are many wierd and wonderful laws

VERY DARK!!

No seriously, its Black Magic, Pearl I think they call it. Its not metalic anyway. I do like the metalic, but the solid black gives a deeper shine and darker colour in my opinion
