just before you go spending dosh..if the old wheels were on and it didnt pull and you fit another set and it does pull...partularly over bumps or under power..its norm tyres...
i have put 4 brand new tyres on a car that was set up and tracked perfectly...i knew cos i had done it..., fitted michelins, and it pulled horribly...swopped round side to side...pulled other way...it took turning one on the rim to cure...barmy...
norm cure for this is to swop the wheels round if tyres arent directional. sounds barmy but had many times
the wobble is wheel balance if rims ok....also check tyres are ok and not out of shape etc etc..
if offsets different its gona feel different and react different to road surface
on the track rod thing..id jack car up and check for play myself...wouldnt trust or have work done via kwik fit at all.
get a local techy to have a look. if you replace them yourselves you can count the number of turns to remove..count the number of turns for new ones back on and then take for tracking at a decent place for say 20 to 25 squids
see how you get on and check back
