Finally got enough time to do some work (though not much

). Mostly maintenance & minor repairs. As some of you know I've been having some rough running issues recently that culminated with idling so low that it was on the verge of stalling & not generating sufficient vacuum to activate the brake servo

First things first, I whipped out the MAF & gave it a clean

Whilst the MAF was nicely soaking in some carb cleaner, I got on with some other bits:

I've been meaning to change the temp sensor for a while, as you can see it had the old black version fitted.

I can't remember the last time I cleaned the throttle body, so i figured that means its time to do it! As it turned out, I was right

It took quite a while to get all the gunk off, but eventually:

Got everything back together & ran it through several ignition cycles & went for a nice long test drive to allow the throttle to realign

I mentioned I thought I'd got a leak on my rear wiper, this is why:

Once I got the trim off; the extent of the problem became apparent:

As usual, the connector had a crack in it (not easy to see in this pic)

Quick repair & job done

I was planning on bypassing the n249 today, but I didn't have time

, however I did one highly important job:

Nice new key case!
Got a couple of other bits to do but that's it for today, and the good news is....... The hesitation & rough running has gone
