Must see - LOOK WHAT I NEARLY BOUGHT !!!
« on: 18 June 2007, 18:42 »
Went to have a look at this car for sale back home... he wants £2500 or so for it... I sat in it, and my head was on the roof, so i had to shuffle down in the seat  but when i started it up, and revved it...  absolutely beautiful! so throaty and powerful sounding! The whole car shook when i revved it hard! Taking it out for a drive... man its fast! Did i mention, it was the UR Turbo version! When the turbo kicked in... well, there are no words! I really wanted to buy the car, but it needs too much work on (all cosmetic i think). Pictures dont do it justice... but have a look anyway!

I had one many moons ago! and I couldnt wait to get shot of it (sorry) running costs were massive.. fuel, parts etc.. it would eat at least one clutch cable every six months or so! and melting fusebox syndrome was a common fault.. looking back, it was a great car to own, for a while! looking forward, it would have to be never again!!
Crevice, Im pretty sure those headlamps are standard kit, slightly later models had a larger one piece headlamp, I thought they didnt look a good as the origional quad setup...

Trust me, it had rusted... then had been painted over, and not very well! It does need cosmetic work, but one could live with it, just to hear the engine every tme you drive :D

I think it would be the 10V as its the early (first model year i think?) version, and the 20V are the latest models? Not sure to be honest!

I dont have any details for you, but i can tell you where the garage is if you want?

Fair play, i think looking at it, its not for me though :( It goes as far as looking and sounding gorgeous, and handlies like a dream! But, i was too big for the car, and it would be impractical for me at the moment, as i cant really afford a "toy"!!
