New fogs etc and cruise time!

Well... got my smoked fogs and indicators etc fitted (finally) and I went to see my brother. Anywayz on the way back I decided to go the scenic way   so through town I went and pulled up in the carpark with the other "ricers" lol.

anywayz... these cars I was parked along side were ALL 1.2/1.4 CORSA's .... modded to **** ... new bumpers front and back, lexus lights, huge spoilers, blacked out windows, 17" wheels, lowered etc

anywayz, i pull up with my tiny 15" wheels, standard gti suspension and the few other lil mods ive done ... but theres a BIG difference

Mines a (sorry vr6 but it needs said) performance car. Not a hairdressers commuter.

Everyone was like... whooa man cool car niiice fogs ... etc .. i dont even have an exhaust and i attract these neandathols (sp?) over quicker than a moth to a light bulb. anywayz.. one of the Corsa boys is giving it raves about how his K&N filter and super exhaust and chipped engine etc etc yadda yadda can keep with my 8v... so... i test him.

and to make him more embarrased i wanted a girl to get into his car... he said it'd weigh his car down etc (which the girl was proper mad about lol) but i just said... mines a bigger car, lets try to make em the same weight group....

so he agreed... ... i only wanted the girl in the car so she could laugh at his piece of sh!t car when it gets blitzed by this standard car.

anywayz, we go down near the railway line and do the lil drag strip thing down there... its about 500m ... and the road is dead after 7pm and the local factory has closed up etc.

so... 3.2.1 go... bye bye Corsa. nuff said.

anywayz, i just goto drive home and this Rover 216 GTI appears behind me and overtakes... (H reg) so im like... uhhm... no... and i overtake it again (tho he proper put his foot down to stop me doing so) ..... anywayz i got by and accelerated and he tried ALL ways to get past me... but... his was a tank and probably had been flogged from day 1 and was a knackered old heap and needed dismantled cos i accelerated away from him!

WOOT...

*btw the fogs look like there Xenon or summet... they appear blue ... tho the camera doesnt show this *

u beat a 1.2 corsa. well done.

A 216gti would blow you away if it was in good nick. a mate has a standard one and it's just as quick as my mk2 so would be quicker than the mk3

I had one of them rovers and theres no way your golf would of kept up  unless he wasnt really botherein, i mean must of been an old man in that

Theres two 216 GTI's. There the GTI and the GTI Twin Cam (that my dad had)

this wasnt twin cam.

and it wasnt an old man... but like i said it was a H reg and probably hadnt been maintained well.

Well cool.

The stunning performance must have been down to the aerodynamic nature of the smoked fogs due to its lighter molecular structure and the pitch of the mounts. Current research has also proved that blue colour light projects quicker thus carving through the air quicker allowing your car to accelerate cleaner through the atmosphere, in turn giving you the power advantage over a 1.2 Corsa.
