I finally fitted it yesterday. I managed to get 'Longlife' exhausts in Basingstoke to make up an adapter for me. (Used to be Powerflow)
It has certainly changed some characteristics of the car. You can hear the turbo a lot more, even at idle you can hear it from the tailpipe! Not sure if thats because there is less to block the noise or whether it is running faster at idle, or maybe a combination of the two.
Low rpm torque is noticeably higher. I can drop right down to around 1200rpm in 5th and boot it and it pulls harder than it did before. I'd say equivelant to around 2000rpm before

Seems to accelerate a lot harder at lower rpm.
There is more smoke. I guess a combination of removing the particle filter and disabling the EGR valve (through software) will all contribute to this. I believe I may be able to address this by altering the fuel timing slightly. Not that its a major problem, its not that bad: you can only see it at night in following headlights. That is apart when I took it out for its first run. I guess it gave the whole system a good blow through and cleared a load of the sh!t out!
