New style DVD Nav unit
« on: 10 June 2007, 22:58 »
I've seen these a couple of times in recent VW prototypes like the Tiguan and in some press photos

Now starting to filter through to Ebay....where do these people get them from??? :D

Touchscreen interface, along with built in 30gb HD for map storage, like higher spec Tom Tom units
1000 Euro not too bad a price either, when you think that a MFD2 goes for £400-600 currently

Any word on when these will be standard fit for GTIs, etc?

Is the general consensus to wait for a UK version, as this is just German spec at present and wont work for the UK?

Looks very nice.

Mind you I had a loan 1.2 Polo loan car last week and even its single slot cd player was MP3 compatible. So why not the one in the GTI?
Bye Bye Edition 30

Sure this has been discussed/featured here before.

Looks good, though finish is high gloss compared to current matt Golf trim.
