De-Badging My MK2 Golf Driver (With Pics)
« on: 10 June 2007, 12:00 »
Just wondering, the best way to do this! If I de-badge it, will it leave holes? or is it just a case of taking the badge off with a hot air gun? I want to replace it with a MK4 Golf badge, so would that cover up any markings left?

Cheers

Okay well I just went with the Kettle of boiling water. Looks pretty cool, I'm left with three holes from the GOLF badge, now, I was looking to put a MK4 GOLF badge on (Seen a few MK2's with MK4 GTi badges, but not the standard MK4 GOLF badge!) would this fit straight into the 3 holes I have?

Here's a pic

nice mk2. Dont ruin it with mk4 badges!

You would get it smoothed but that colour is hard to colour match and it might go all wrong

not too bad, think i got one of them golf badges on mine but i took it off seeing as the car is being completely pulled apart and rebuilt, so i'm shaving them off.

Looks like you got a bit of rust to tackle on them arches as well

Nice colour
