Can this be the tyres???

This is odd. I just replaced my standard 14" steel rims on my mk2 gti 8v with some refurbed 15" Estorils and part worn tyres 2 pairs of different makes(didn't want to change them until more worn and then will change the lot). The car was running true and straight before but now it seems to pull left and feel a bit loose when turning. Also my steering wheel is off centre when the car is driving straight? Is this something to do with the tyres or could it be the alloys?? Any ideas?

tyres, tracking, balancing..
Get them balanced up and the tracking sorted for the new rims and this should help.
