HOW TO: Fit a Pollen Filter to your Mk2

Mahle do a filter which fits the Mk2, but the Seat Toledo also uses the same filter, so if you can't find one for the golf, get the Toledo one as a swap  :smiley:

It's very easy to fit, pics to come..

Remvoe the scuttle tray, and below on the apssenger side you will see the leaf guard over the blower motor and air inlet. Clean all the debris out from around ehre, unclip and remove it.

The filter is then a straight drop into the gap, make sure to put some sealer, or grease around the edge just to make it a bit more waterproof, for the sake of it mroe than anything.

Got mine locally, from a small autofactors, they're jsut getitng into eBay business to  :wink:

It was about £9-10 iirc, nothing more than that.. altohugh with it being the same the toledo one i'd imagine to be more available  :smiley:
