To anyone who's done a 9A conversion themselves

One of my valvers engines has packed in, so now's the time to do the conversion. Just wondering what my shopping list should be (besides the engine) if anything? Also, will my loom be ok or will i need the loom from the 9A engine?
Thanks

Just doing the same to mine now.
As far as i know you just need the 9a lump with a set of kr cams and use the kr flywheel and clutch if you are gonig to use the 16v box. Think more or less everything swops over.
Just finished re-building my engine today ready to start stripping my old engine out tomorrow.
If i find any bits you need i will let you know.

You will use the kr loom and ecu just need to put your scensors from the kr into the 9a as the temp sencors have different connectors on them.
Started mine today. Engine and bax are all ready to come out just got to wait until next week for my engine crane to arrive.

Well i can say you dont have to change the loom or ecu. Did mine in half a day today to get it in and running.
All you need to use is the clutch and fly wheel off the kr along with the warm up regulator and a couple of the temp sensors off the side of the block. I changed the engine mounts as well as east to do with engine out.
