To Prime or not to Prime?
« on: 06 June 2007, 19:05 »
anybody know whether i need to prime my crappy old alloys before i spray hammerite on them?

I have just bought 3 rattle cans of smooth black hammerite for cheap. I appreciate i'll have to key the surface of the wheel up to remove old lacquer etc but will i need special aluminium primer?

I don't think a semi will give the same results
