You like this OSIR front? For some reason it reminds me of Ford Focus ST front... It is not very subtle.

IMHO, ABT front and Rieger or Caractere back are the best looking.

....Well, each to their own of course - It would be dull if we all liked the same.

I think the Abt front (I have Abt rear to accommodate my quads) is fussy compared to the OSIR. The Rieger sides and rear are incredibly over fussy and the front looks better but is getting a bit 'max-power', besides being very impractical on UK roads. The Caractere rear is quite the worst I've seen with that shiny black section which also is far too high.

What I like about mine is that it could be mistaken for being stock and is in my opinion fairly subtle.

Respect.
I thought about quad exhaust... why would a car like Golf need four pipes? I think it is just tooooo much! Man, I saw Alfa with 6 pipes!  Crazy.
ABT back is great, it is subtle. Rieger back with diffuser in the middle, in my opinion, looks nice on black and red cars. For white ones I like ABT or Oettinger (with the white stripe, like on their website) rears.

Rang the local stealer up today to get some prices.

- R32 Side skirts are £30 each and they come primed ready for painting.
- GTI Front skirt bumper strip is £40 and it comes primed ready for painting.

I'm going to order those this weekend and also order the Votex rear bumper off ebay which costs £330 (Icl P&P).

So thats £430 just for materials. Add £150 for paint and labour. Total cost around £600 which isnt bad!

....Many Thanks! Your comment is appreciated and it's good to know that others enjoy her as much as I do.

The Mk5 GTI is going to be a hard act to follow for VW.

How did you attach the other 2 exhausts?
Im assuming they are just dummies........

And what side skirts are those?

Do the exhaust ends on the GTi come off easily because mine have gone black and i would like to get them looking new by replacing them........

what do you mean - dummies?!?
they are operational! The pipes are welded to the backbox like on a normal exhaust! It is all koscher!
Question is - whether you need 4 pipes on GTI. I mean, on M5 there should be 4 huge pipes, they give the car a finished agressive look. But GTI? For symmetry - 4 look great. But asymmetric 2-pipe exhaust is great too! Basically - you cannot go wrong with GTI, 2 on one side, 1 on each side, or 2 on each side... errr.. yes you can - 2 in the middle exhaust like on R32
