just about to fit some poly bush's to my arb eye links. is there an easy way to do this without a press? iv heard of soaking the bush's in hot water? or plenty of grease and standing on them to get em'in! Paul

they are a buger to get in! Clean up the area they are going into ie any rust. I used brut force and a flat head screwdriver to slowly tease the bushing in, not the best way I suspect! Good luck

I would imagine putting them in hot water will make them expand, making it harder to get them in.
How about freezing them to make them contract ??

The hot water trick makes them nice and supple so you can tease them in. A couple of blocks of wood and a vice can push in the most troublesome of bushes.

sorted. soaked in nice hot water, plenty of copper slip and brute force with a big flat head screwdriver! watch your fingers though!

Or a big bolt and a few big washers just put the bush in place then tighten the bolt up like a press but much more hard work lol

Hot water to soften the poly, then plenty of copperslip. Then I put the eyelet on the ground and sit the bush on top, then stand on it while i push the lip in round nthe edge with a screwdriver. Once in all the way round, stamp on it a couple of times
