Fitting PAS to GTD?????
« on: 03 June 2007, 15:02 »
Just bought a shed of a MK2 for £80, but it has loads of goodies on it, like 17's, PAS, single wiper and tidy big bumpers. Thing is, I would like to fit the PAS from the 1300 to my GTD. Just looked at the room in my engine bay and there's not alot to be honest!! Has anyone fitted the full set up to a car like a GTD or GTi? I'm aware of HOW to do it, but is there anything i should look out for? The crossmember looks like it's a bit tight to run the pipes along. Any advice guys?!

1300 engine setup wont work, but the rest of it should be similar assuming its got mk2 rack, pump & lines.
I'd expect the PAS bracketry on a GTD is different to petrol models due to the injection pump n stuff?
