body trim

I want to take the plastic arches off a 16v but i cant afford to fill in the holes for the rub strips to be removed so they are staying. But i noticed that the front arches have a bit of the rub strip attached onto them. I have seen cars without arches but with the rub strip on the front arches. Are these cut of an old pair of arches or can you get these bits of rub strip for no arches??

Hope this isnt confusing. (it makes sense to me!!!)

the earlier arches didn't have this strip like mine.
I believe the later ones and the G60 ones have it on then, but I'd have to cut it off if I had G60 ones. Just get the bodyshop to do that when they're colour coding them I think :)
