Help us Develop a new Exhaust
« on: 01 June 2007, 13:41 »
Hi There,

I work for Scorpion Exhausts, we are looking to develop a new range of exhausts for the mk5 golf.  We are having problems tracking cars down for the development work.

Is there anyone on the forum that would be prepared to lend us their car for a week or so?

We need all variants of the mk5 inc turbo, r32.  We also will need the lower spec cars too.

We would need to keep each car for approx 1 week.  At night the vehicles will be locked securely inside our workshop.

If you can help or would just like some more info please lewt me know.

As thanks for the loan of your car you will recieve a free product for your car.

Thanks

Shaun Jackson

Unfortunately we no longer offer a loan car, we are based in derby just off the M1,  If you require picking up and taking somewhere on the day of the loan and when you collect your car back we can arrange this.

tempting.....but not sure I'd like it being used for development!

I'm sure someone will jump at the chance for a free exhaust!

Hi Shaun,

Good offer, although I suspect you may have a harder task than you first thought trying to get us Dubbers to hand over our beloved cars for a week

Are you simply developing cat back systems or are you developing full systems too?
Are they all Stainless systems?

I'm sure that if you "juice" it up a bit someone will take the plunge

Didn't Q-Park say something similar about their cars being locked up before being stolen with the keys? :undecided:

No forking chance
