Looks nice.

Damm sight better than the (in my opinion) tacky wood finish on the 1.8T.

I sprayed it diamond black first with a silver flick, but couldnt even noticed i did it (due to tints) so i thought silver was the way to go, really please with results :D

that actually looks really good!

i really like what you've done with the gear surround and centre console, looks spot one!

how did you do it, did you mask it and do it in place or take it apart and spray it outside the car, think you need to get some instructions up!

Well as im doing my 1.4 to 1.8t conversion I had to take gear linkage out, so took whole centre centre console and surround out of car, rubbed off all scratched rubber effect (as paint wont stick if its still on), used plastic primer, the four coats of silver, then 3 coats of laquer, put it back together and stuck it back in and yes i masked off the surround, got a tiny bit of overspray so tonight, im going in with cotton wool buds and paint thinner to make it perfect.

Have just bought these just now to help tie in the silver on the door panel:

Thanks for comments
