Hi guys - just purchased my first Golf and i have to say its just fantastic. Its my second car, and previously i had a hand me down citroen AX. I can't believe how much nicer to drive this is. Its a red 1998 MK3 - only 1.4 to cut down on my insurance - but great drive. I'm looking to play with it a bit and this forums looks like it covers everything!

There are a few Mk3 1.4 owners on here mate so loads of info. If ya cant find what ya want in the Mk3 section use the seach facility.

The mk3 is still easy for diy and service.

btw, my second car is in my signature! I've had it 9 yrs & cant bear to get rid  :grin:
