 :smiley: i used to live in the west midlands and was a bit supprised when i saw where it was........3.5 hours travelling by train to get it.......was worth it though.am going to drop it 40mm,stick a golf grill etc in it and gti front splitter and the brand new seat 14's that i have or maybe the 15" oz polaris' that i also have.if i ever find out how to post pictures on here i will load one up..... :smiley:

go to www.photobucket.com or similar, create and account and then upload your picture to there (follow instructions on photobucket).

Then below your picture will be a link that looks a bit like like , select this, copy it, and paste it into your post on this thread

Now get some pics posted  :grin:

Mines February '85, early, but not as early as I'd like....I really should get it tested and running right, but my 944's taking most of my time at the mo....

Saw a nice A plate Mk2 at Stonor just in the car park at the bottom of the hill near the auto jumble this year.
Mars red with all the Mk1 ish touches like the decals and interior.

I was all set to buy a May '84 GTi back in January....I sold my existing car, agreed a price with the guy, then, an hour before i was due to pick it up, he bailed out.....Man, I was pissed!  :angry:
