I'm saving up for a respray and a good quality car cover! (house with garage would be preferable but the car cover is a bit cheaper lol)

Personally I use AG paint restorer, super resin polish and megs gold class wax

Brings it up nicely and lasts a reasonable length of time.

Although since I have moved house and my car sits facing the sun all day long I have really noticed the difference with the bonnet and roof fading much faster

VW paint is "hard" but i still wouldnt use G3 on it!

If your local to me (PM but i am on the wirral ish) then will PC a bonnet for free to show you the results.

I would start with a clay, followed (if by hand) megs scratch X, AG SRP for a standard non-show car.

If you have the time then megs 83, megs 80, megs gold or 915.

You know you want to, you dont realise it yet!
