Norev Model 1:18 or 1:43rd????
« on: 29 May 2007, 17:02 »
Has anyone got a Norev model of the mk5 Gti?

I want to get one of the Edition 30 ones and put some BBS CH's style rims on it, but some places it says its in 1:43rd and others say its 1:18th? do they do both scales?

Is it just the 1:18th that you can open the boot and doors etc?

get a bluefin for it also.
And a set of Eibach pro-kit.
And maybe a 4-pipe exhaust and a rear skirt by RIeger
and front skirt by Abt

I watched this episode of Fifth Gear (or maybe it was Top Gear, can't recall) where this guy built a full working model of Ferrari. Engine works, suspension, stearing. He had even made the sound of that little 12 cylinder engine, that took him like 5 years to build, to replicate the Ferrari's. That was awesome!

So building a 1:1 scale fully working replica isn't an option then

I did not buy a model GTI, I bought a black-white-red polo with a red GTI logo on it, and a t-shirt, and a pullover, also in same colors.  :embarassed:
