UK Number Plate Law?

anyone know the Law or where i can read up on it...

some say you can have black number plates, some say you only need to have on the back not front??

i have no idea, do you?

Cops are getting real strict on plates and window tints at the moment as well....

yeah i read a thing on the cops in manchester crackin down on tints... dont think they r so strict round here in west london (watford) as iv not heard of anything

Hi, letters have to be of 10mm dimensions with 10mm spacing. Pre 1972 for black plates i think. It really is more strict than you realise. Any deviation from the 10mm spacing is deemed illegal.

Numberplates should meet British or equivalent EU standard (ie german  :wink:)
