gti e30 interior question?

ok you can prob see the diff, the top image has a normal turn knob, the 2nd image has a much better looking twizle knobs.. (lol)

what one comes with the e30? if the 1st what do you need for the 2nd?

it won't come with the one shown here, it comes with dual climate as standard

First image is the US spec "Climatic" air con...UK spec GTIs get the dual-zone "Climatronic" climate control as standard, as in the 2nd pic

The really poor exchange rate for VW in America means that they have to keep the cost of the car down as much as possible to try and keep it competitively priced, hence the lower spec air con for the US GTIs

I noticed in the interior pic that there is an aluminium footrest, I went to the dealers the other day and their demo did not have one. Can anyone who has got a UK spec ED30 confirm if theirs came with an ali footrest or it it is an optional extra and if so where to get it and have it fitted. My ED30 should be arriving in 10 days and want to make sure it comes with it.

i think it only comes with the auto, dsg model.

was the one u saw at the dealer auto?

Mine is a DSG ED30 and it doesn't come as standard with an aluminium footrest - for sure!

It was an auto dsg 5dr, and only had the accelerator and brakes pedals in ali and a plastic footrest.

I have send the photo to my dealer with another one from another forum, I hope he will get back to me tomorrow.
