Hi all ive been getting stuck into my little project
and ive managed to get the front end empty and cleaned ready for the new heart
, but at the same time trying to work out the best way to turbo my 8v but i cant get my head around the engine management side of things.
...I could go all out and buy somthing like megasquirt or any other stand alone system but at cost. So Ive been doing alot of research and still dont get the answers i need so i have 1 or 2 questions if anyone can help.
Ok so it goes like this :- My mk2 is an 8v digi II but ive read that it only reads negative vaccume which is not good for turboing but when running turbo you need positve and negative vaccume is this true ?? if so digi I does, then could I use a G60 ECU and engine harness. I know from reading about the PHIRM`S Rallye G60 Turbo that before he ran different engine managment standard ecu was used for safty so could i do the same and use the G60 ECU and Loom to get everthing running?
