Alpine White MK2 16v
« on: 27 May 2007, 09:58 »
Hi everyone, i've been on the forum for a while.

Last weekend i put a deposit down on a mint alpine white mk2 valver, 2 previous owners, 120k, wanted for nothing.

During the week i put my mk3 16v up for sale and sold it to the first viewer.

I went to pick the mk2 up friday and had a nice return journey from Salisbury to Reading to familiarise myself.

Sunroof down and windows open i had one of the most exhilariting drives i've had for a long time, couldn't get enough of the 16v motor on song.

Drove down to the south coast and back yesterday and it gets better and better, i'm astounded how Solid and fun this car is out of the box.

See below for some pics.

Plans for the future? Although very tempting to tweak a few bits i'm going to keep her exactly as Wolfsburg intended.

hi mate, not usually a fan of white ones but that is seriously nice :smug:

i also don't think it needs anything doing to it looks lovely the way it is.

have you got any interior and bay shots?

good puchase mate, how much for such a nice looking example?

Thanks for the comments.

I paid £2400 for it in the end, completely happy though as it's recently had cambelt, oil cooler, head gasket, front discs and pads and a CAT 1 alarm/immobiliser.

There's a whole wad of receipts in a folder from new, even got the original sales receipt!
