Wobbly seat

Hi,

my drivers seat in my Mk2 Golf GTI is proper wobbly and when you pull the lever to adjust the height it drops down on one side making the seat wonky. Is it proper broken or cheaply fixable???

any ideas???

try some seat glide peices (seat clips)

171 881 213 B            - Seat Glide Piece (Outer)
191 881 213 B      - Seat Glide Piece (Inner)
435 881 203 A      - Seat Glide Piece (Front)
Above part numbers have change I think though, but I quoted these to the dealer and I got the correct stuff!

Don't buy them off ebay etc... though get genuine ones the pattern one last about a week!

will try that would that also be the problem with the height adjustment??

doubt that will cure the height adjustment tbh.

take the seat out and av a look see if there is anything obvious/easy
