anyone know what this is and where it should be connected to?

just noticed that this thing is not connected, any idea what it is and where it should be connected to? there isnt much slack on the cable, so should be close by, but i couldnt find anything to plug it into

It doesn't need to be connected anywhere its a temperature sensor for the AC.

I cant understand where the sensor is... could you help me ?

The sensor is supposed to held by the black clip thats towards the left hand side of the pic, Basically on top of the ECU, If you look at the pic, you will see the black clip.

Its like a U -Y Shaped clip, Its mounted on the Bracket that holds the ECU
