electric mirrors - how do i remove them?

Could someone tell me the best way to remove the wiring for electric mirrors please? I tried earlier but got too hot and stressed so gave up! Cheers

HI,
I just removed a set from a MK2 I was breaking and it's a nightmare. The loom on might was clipped to the main cross beam under the dashboard and sound deadening. !!! So it was dash out and the remove the sound deadening and the unclip the loom from the beam
