vauge/light steering.....?
« on: 25 May 2007, 15:19 »
my drivers steering seems fairly vauge around the straight ahead positon. any ideas?when turning its fine but just doesn't feel solid or particulalry weighted when straight. Am thinking get it fully tracked first then pass judgment?or could it be some bushes? On the subject of bushes, how worth it is it to polybush the car?i am fairly competent at working on the car but is fitting them a nightmare or is it alright?just want the car to feel solid and positive.

get the tracking, alignment & camber sorted first off. if the front are toe'in in then it can give a very light vague feeling when straight ahead
