What colour is you car lol, please no one says black...its just the black looks different to mine

wax your car and it will turn out like that aswell
It gives it that deep wet look!

I would wax my car and iv been waiting a good while since iv got my car to give it a good clean but Gibs sh!t! They do not sell ANY descent cleaning products such as Meguiares, Zymol or even Auto Glym! Iv been waiting for a while to get my credit card so as soon as i do, i will order a bunch of cleaning stuff from www.cleanyourcar.co.uk lol, another problem is i am not sure which products to buy if any one could help and what process to go through to clean the car, iv seen so much around its just confusing me

Take a look here: http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=57775.0

I ended up spending a fortune but it was well worth it!

I've got the following:

  Meguiars Hot Rims Wheel Cleaner
Meguiars Supreme Shine Microfibre Polish Cloth (pack of 3)
Meguiars Even Coat Applicator Pads (pack of 2)
Meguiars Lambs Wool Wash Mitt x2
Meguiars Grit Guard & Bucket Kit
Meguiars NXT Generation Glass Cleaner (710ml)
Meguiars Hot Shine Tyre Spray (Trigger 710ml)
  Meguiars Natural Shine Protectant

  P21S Concours Look Carnauba Wax
P21S Super-Absorbing Drying Towel With Case
  P21S Bodywork Conditioning Shampoo (500ml)
  P21S Gloss Enhancing Paintwork Cleanser

  Zymol Auto Wash (473ml)
  Zymol Wheel Brush

They'll last me atleast 6 months. Total spend was around £170
I got all the stuff from: http://www.vertar.com/

P21S stuff is really good, esp the Paintwork Cleanser. Really does smooth the bodywork out with a silk finish for the wax to go on!

well i use the following:

Poorboys Super Slick n Suds
Meguiars Lambswool wash mitt x 2; one for the top half and the other for below the bump strips
every 6 months or so i use Megs Quik Detailer and the clay bar to remove tree sap etc
Followed by a Autoglym Super Resin Polish
Sealed with Autoglym Extra Gloss protection
Then topped up with Clearkote Vanilla Moose Wax

I'm going to be purchasing Collinite 915 wax soon as its supposedly very durable and gives a great shine on darker cars.

For the wheels i use Megs Hot Wheels every other week for stubborn brake dust otherwise i juse just the Poorboys.  Every couple of months I take the wheels off and seal with the wax

After every other wash i add a layer of wax.  Don't use polish as this strips the protective wax coating.  You only need to polish every 3 months or so and then use wax to keep the shine topped up.

At the end of the day it all depends what you want to achieve.  If you look at Detailing World you'll see the extreme lengths people go to.

Personally I want as good as finish as possible with minimum effort
