Passenger door handle??

My passenger outer door handle wont let me in any more!! The trigger catch has been a bit tempremental for a while and i had to squeeze it right back to get the door open but now it wont even do this! Has anyone got any quick fix sollutions or do i need a newbie???

1. Take door handle off
2. Apply lots of grease to trigger and mech
3. put door handle back on
4. Open door

This worked for my rear door handle that had the exact problem you described, needing a realy hard squeeze to open then after a while not working at all.  Just got a tub of thick grease from Halfords, nowt special.
