That's easy.

Get a decent Mystic Blue 3 door VR6. Preferable a supercharged one. Bang on the wheels, rear lights and bumpers which is a must!

Yea I know!

Had a drive of a Corrado Vr6 at the weekend (one of Billy's cars!)
And yes I know thats a 2.9 but man I liked it!

And yes most definitely I would swap everything over!
Except for the interior if I went for a 3 door.

Would have let you drive mine if you wanted to. You know the sound as well, can't beat that!

Swapping is a must. They are all essential to the Len Man!

Have decisions to make!

Do I really want to spend £3500 on the engine?
Yes I really would like to, but in present economic climate I'm not 100% certain of staying in work.
So it would be really silly to spend my reserves.
Also I have an expensive year coming up with our 40th wedding anni, a couple of 40th birthdays in the family and my 60th.

So I have been thinking about buying a decent 3 door VR6! (have to be mystic blue of course!)
Or I postpone the engine build.........

Could you not turbo a VR6 for that amount?

The point is Dom I am wary of spending that money!

The reason for thinking standard Vr6 is that would put me on a par with the Passat as it is now and tbh thats fast enough.

Yea the sound is nice, but I'm more interested in the torque.

Have decided that in the meantime I will press on with stripping and swapping the two engines I have and maybe the rebore.

Well get a VR6 with 268 cams and a VGI manifold, torque tastic!
