I think with all that wood in the bumper you need to get yourself some wooden panels for the doors and make a traveller Mk3.

And now we go back full circle to the whitewalls and windscreen cap that was suggested for most people's cars last month!

Simple.
And its not just any wood its plywood. Which is in itself strong.
When sandwiched between a layer of glassfibre both sides it is very strong and light!

Lotus and other kit car manufacturers use that method in their glassfibre bodies.
Well they did as its mostly carbonfibre now.

I could use mesh and do in places but that is harder to hold to a flat plane whilst doing the first layer.

So what you're saying is you're rebuilding pats of your car to the same specification of an early Lotus.  :cool:  :grin:
