Just a little explanation as it seems people are speculating incorrectly as usual.

The Rebel bit is about the car and NOT putting a 1.8T or BAM engine in it!
The sig pic is an adaptation of an old forum that was set up by the "witches" which is before the time most active folk were on here and is meant as a pun on that in relation to the car.
The Cause is the car.

End of!

No other theories entertained.

My theory is that your sig means that you secretly have James Dean, Elvis Presley and John Kennedy chillin' in the back seat.

Ummmmm it aint! :embarassed:
Have two engines sat on garage floor still in the process of being dismantled.

The real story goes like this........
All four wheelarches had bad rust spots and needed doing badly before they rotted through.
So as the front bumper had to come off to do that I decided to do the work on it that I had been thinking of for a long time.
As I work in London and dont get home til 7 in the evening my time is restricted to weekends and I have therefore been doing bodywork and the bumper.

If I had the time and the money and a place to garage them I'd have a Mk1 and a Mk2.
