I'm needing a new radiator/fan cowling/shroud for '89 8v Golf i've been quoted 41.99 surely there mustbe a cheaper alternative? thats for a genuine item...

Also need an alternator for the above what company would you suggest going through for this part and how much am i looking at from them?

Your radiator keeps your coolant cool, which stops your engine overheating and exploding.

Don't skimp on the most important bits - £42 for a rad? Or £420 for a head gasket skim and 8 new valves?

I got an aluminuim one for about 40 notes iirc
