Pulled by the Police for window tints! So, rear windows for sale!

After a pants day at work, coming home to a completely unfinished house that my landlord has moved us into, the Police decide to have a dig too 

If any of you have read my project thread, I've got Window tints up front and behind, clearly illegal in the front, so I got pulled by the Police and they had a dig about how they were over the 30% limit (and if they knew the law at all, they should know front tints are actually completely illegal unless factory fitted pre-1995 or something like that), and that I would be issued a £30 per window, that being £60 for each drivers door because of the quarter lights.

I got let free with 1 week to change it before they return with the light meter (if they come back), so a bit annoyed, I'm going to have to strip them off the glass. I don't want the car to look stupid without front tints and have rears, so I'm going to need to take them all out, so if anyone wants to swap the rears for theirs + £30 I'll gladly do it.

that's harsh as f**k!! sayin that, i wouldnae have tinted them in the first place, but dead unlucky mate

i have front 3/4 doors which are f**ked, sitting here, but the glass is fine if you fancy them?

where abouts do you stay. i really want the new window type, i hate the 1/4 lights with a passion! looks pants, and the seals cost about 3 billion pounds each!

lol - bristol, it's just under ma name. they look ok imo, bit retro. the worst thing is the mirrors are a bit crap for seeing out of.

mind if you got big windows you'd need new seals and regulators tae

Makes me wonder about mine!
Mirror tint fading to black, only on the back 3 windows but this has def put me off doing all the windows.
