VDO Gauges (I know its been done to death...!)

Right,
got my self a set of audi VDC gauges for the b argain price of £12!

I now need the twin pole sender, a T-peice and another oil temp guage. (I think, someone confirm this for me!)

The problem is I'm not sure where to get these from? I've looked on Bigboystoys, but its not very clear which I need!!

Can anyone give me a part number for them of BBT, or another website that is better/cheaper.

PS I'm planning on fitting them to the centre console, under the ashtray, using a custom mount (somehow!), anyone else done this?

u want the t piece one i believe for 9.95.
umay not need this should u have three sender spaces on ur oil filter housing, the later models have three spaces

Yeh I think I need the t-piece so that I keep the existing MFA Oil temp, and the VDG gauge temp.
I also think I need the pressure sender WITH terminal for oil warning light.

I need someone (RJ???) to confirm before I order them.

I also need the 170degree audi sender, These are £12 ish from VW, alot cheaper than BBT!

right tried to order these of BBT, but they are no longer in stock and not likley to be for another 2 months at least!

Any one know somewhere else I can get the Twin pole sender and the t-piece?? I've searched but can't seem to find it!

Help cos I've everything else!!!!

You probably need an audi one not VW, its got a blue collar on it. You can order it from VW though:

i done this using the existing audi mounting bracket, and then butchered an old centre console to get the wraparound bits for the sides.

not perfect but not bad either!!

I bought the vdo holder for the centre consold from awesome, doesn't look too bad.  I avoided cutting up the rarer leccy window console by fitting a corrado electric window loom and moving the switches to the doors

yeh thats what I'm planning gambit!!! Will have a play with the existing holder, its the angled one so it faces the driver more. If I can get the to fit I'll get my brother to make a aluminium holder up that I can rivet in.


RJ I managed to source a sender from "Audi Heaven" on ebay £17, more bearable than £65 at Demon tweeks!

Also - is the 10*1mm t-peice listed on big boys toys suitable for the MFA/Guage temp Senders?
