Audi help, same engine as MK3 GTI 16v

I have an Audi Sport, its a 2.0 16v Golf MK3 GTI 16v lump......how do i get the Cat' converter off? Its a 1992 model so im sure it will be ok for its MOT?

Hi Paul, that's your third car in a year!  What are you doing with them all?
The cats usually unbolt from flanges on the exhaust system but you'll need a special piece of pipe (de-cat pipe I think they're called)to fill the gap. There's quite a few specialists that make them. Happy hunting J.
