HORN QUESTION [MKIII 16v]

I want to upgrade my horn from the Noddy one my 16v currently has, to a nice, scare-the-bellywarmers-off-grannies-at-zebra-crossing kind.

Now I know they're cheap enough, but i'm a miserly type, so....

Will a horn from a new Mercedes E-Class fit straight on?

I have been told there may be problems, but the bloke that told me that knows less about cars than I do! Is he right?

Weird question...I know...but I work in fleet, hence the question.

i would expect that any 12 volt horn will work.

You need to offer up the Merc one to see how it fits and if there is space for it.
