What's going on with these prices???
Are they stolen???
Are the sellers Nigerian???

scammers by the look of them i would have thought.

either that or people have gone through divorces, wife has ended up with car and sold it off at stupid price just to annoy their ex 

fraudsters are ruining Ebay; member on here, Illyun had his ad and pictures copied from his ED30 ad!!  and the seller passing it off as their own!! 

Autotrader is just the same.  I had loads of emails when selling my MK2 and by the time i got a genuine one I'd sold it to a mate of the inlaws for a bit less money

But how do they actually expect to part people from their money.
Surely the lack of car when you go to pick it up might make you slightly reluctant to hand over the dollar, or are these scammers preying on really stupid people

ahhh you see people on things like watchdog saying that they thought it was a good deal and they can't believe they were conned buying stuff like this..... makes me laugh

For people that have clicked on them and can't be arsed to view the above link, this is what it says (from mg-rover.org)

Recently there have been a spate of listings for a
'2005 (55) Rover MG ZT+ CDTI 135'

He also has other listings:
2003 RANGE ROVER VOGUE V8 AUTO + WIDE TV SAT NAV
2003 VW TOUAREG V10 TDI
2005 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE


These are listed on a hijacked account so the feedback looks fine.The listings always have a gallery picture with a ridiculously cheap BIN price emblazoned across the photograph.

If you click on the listing you will almost instantaneously be re-directed onto a fake ebay page using a javascript programme. This is an attempt to gain your details via 'phishing'. The page will also attempt to download a Keylogger onto your computer. Obviously both methods are being used to harvest ebay login details and potentially bank passwords etc.

How to protect yourself:

Windows Phishing filter will spot the fake page
Firefox Phishing filter will also spot it
Ebay toolbar will spot it

Only problem being is that by the time they spot it the keylogger may have been downloaded!

If you have Firefox installing NoScript will stop the download.

Should you have gone onto this page. To be safe you need to do a thorough virus / trojan scan with Windows restore switched off. Probably best to change your passwords too once you are sure you are not infected!

The current listings that are up are 'clean' as of 7am this morning, however, it only needs the scammer to revise the listing to activate the re-direct. He keeps one in reserve now because his auctions keep getting pulled! Haha.

To report an unsafe listing:
In 'My ebay' click on 'Safety Centre'
Then click on 'Report a problem'
Then click on 'Report another problem'
Then click on 'Listing policy breaches'
In Step 1 Click on Listing policy breaches (improper keywords, outside links etc)
In Step 2 Click on 'Other listing policy offences'
In Step 3 click on 'Listing contains HTML or scripts that are not permitted on ebay'
Then click on 'Continue'
Click on 'Email us'
Insert the item numbers and click on 'Send'
Done!

ebay do not make it easy to report but it is well worth doing so...

I have emailed the above scammer with the following message:

'Every ebay redirect scam listing you put up I will get taken down '

and I even got a reply!

'Hi, well be a nice man and leave me alone ok ?
Thanks and Cheers!'

He uses two email addresses:

 "David Bullan" mbullan70@yahoo.com and a Googlemail address: camatar32@gmail.com




Do feel free to clog up his mailboxes with whatever you feel appropriate


In the meantime I have had a chat with 'Livehelp' who are suspending the accounts he has hijacked within minutes of me talking to them, so we can get them taken down even quicker now.

I haven't clicked on the links myself so don't know if they are as described above, but best on the safe side.
