Mk3 wheel fitment question/guide

Im in need of a breakdown of mk3 wheels and fitment guide and its meaning.

Im going to be refurbing my wheels and may need a donor set.
What do i need to look out for? what fits and what doesnt?
ie stud pattern, thats easy but all the rest ET etc x100 etc.
What does ET specify?
And is this correct?

 anniversary rims on the mk3 are ET43 7x16, the standard GTI rims are 6.5x15 and are ET38?

its off the original vw anniversary brochure. couple specialist sites have them if you go into dub rides ive listed a few there.

I would say just get a set of standard MK3 GTI rims there are loads floating around.

still waiting on one quote first as was recommend by the porsche forum for their 2 and 3 peice bbs rebuilds, and speedlines. Will let you know how i get on.
