I think the 3.2 litre is an old girl now and will be phased out
I've been saying that for quite a while.
The narrow angle VR6 engines suffer with poor internal cooling, which is why they remain in a relatively mild state of tune.
Indeed, Audi completely overlooked that engine, in favour of the 4-pot 2litre FSI turbo for the S3, dispite all the so-called "previews" claiming it would have the VR6 lump. Also, in the A4, Audi went for a compeletely new designed wide angle 3.2 V6.
