« on: 08 February 2004, 19:33 »
hi all i bought a nice N reg 3 dr gti 16v a few weeks ago and everything seems fine, its just sometimes the passenger side window doesnt always respond when u press the button, but most times it does, it does this with the drivers and passengers button and so i was wondering if anyone knew the problem and if its easy to fix? i dont want this to get worse.

Check the wires inside the rubber sleeves that go between the body and the doors.  They often lose their insulation and earth out, or snap altogether.  It's a common problem on Mk3 Golf & Jetta.
